An explosive workplace meltdown has gone viral after a woman, recently terminated from her job, completely lost control — leading to a police call and an arrest that stunned both her former coworkers and online viewers.
According to reports, the woman, identified only as “Jasmine,” had been called into a meeting with management after several complaints about her conduct and performance. Witnesses say she was informed of her termination in a calm, professional manner — but her reaction was anything but calm.
“She started shouting that they couldn’t fire her, that she was the best worker they had,” one former colleague recalled. “Then she threw her company badge across the room and started knocking over office equipment.”
Security footage later released by the company shows Jasmine storming through the office, flipping a chair, and slamming the door behind her as she left the building. But things didn’t end there. Minutes later, she reportedly returned to the parking lot, pounding on the glass doors and yelling at her supervisor. That’s when the company decided to call law enforcement.
Police officers arrived shortly afterward and found Jasmine still arguing outside the building. When they tried to calm her down, she allegedly refused to cooperate and began filming the officers, accusing them of harassment. “She kept saying, ‘You can’t arrest me — they started it!’” an officer stated in the report.
Bodycam footage later showed officers speaking calmly with her for several minutes before she attempted to walk away, prompting them to detain her. She was eventually arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest without violence.
In the now-viral bodycam video, Jasmine can be seen sitting silently in a holding cell, visibly shaken. The clip, titled “Entitled Woman Loses It After Getting Fired — and It Ends Badly,” has racked up millions of views on social media, sparking a heated debate about workplace behavior and emotional control.
Some online users sympathized with her, suggesting that losing a job can trigger intense emotional distress, especially if the firing feels unfair. Others, however, saw the incident as a cautionary tale about accountability. “Everyone gets fired at some point,” one commenter wrote. “It’s how you handle it that defines your character.”
Employment experts agree that while termination can be devastating, reacting violently or publicly can make future employment nearly impossible. “Employers look at emotional maturity as much as skill,” said career counselor Dana Russell. “Once you have a public outburst tied to your name, it can follow you for years.”
As for Jasmine, she was released later that evening and has reportedly been ordered to attend anger management counseling as part of her court agreement. The company declined to press additional charges for property damage, citing a desire to “move forward peacefully.”
Her story has now become a viral example of how quickly emotions can turn a bad day into a public spectacle — and how one moment of rage can change everything.
