A routine patrol turned into a life-saving mission when a police officer leapt into action to save a choking infant on the side of a busy roadway. Dashcam footage captured the harrowing moments as the desperate family pulled over, frantically waving for help, while their baby struggled to breathe.
The officer immediately rushed to the car, where the panicked parents handed him their child, who was turning blue and gasping for air. Without hesitation, the officer began performing the Heimlich maneuver for infants—placing the baby face down along his arm, supporting the head, and delivering firm back blows to dislodge the obstruction.
