In a scene straight out of a horror movie, police officers in a rural area made a chilling discovery — a man found alive but with both hands nailed to a tree trunk deep in the forest.
According to authorities, the terrifying incident unfolded after hikers reported hearing faint cries for help coming from a wooded area on the outskirts of town. When officers arrived at the scene, they followed the sounds through thick brush and eventually stumbled upon what one described as “the most disturbing sight of my career.”
Bodycam footage shows the man pinned upright between two trees, his hands fastened by large nails. Despite the excruciating situation, he was conscious and begging for help. Officers immediately called for medical assistance while working carefully to free him.
Emergency responders had to use specialized equipment to safely remove the nails without causing further injury. The man, believed to be in his late 30s, was airlifted to a nearby hospital where he remains in stable condition.
