It started as a regular shopping day at a local department store — until one customer’s demand for a discount spiraled into a dramatic standoff that had employees and shoppers stunned.
According to witnesses, the incident began when a woman approached the checkout counter claiming that one of the items she picked up was supposed to be on sale. When the cashier explained that the promotion had ended earlier in the week, the customer reportedly became furious, insisting she deserved the lower price “as a loyal shopper.”
