“Driver Slams Into Police Car—Then Pretends NOTHING Happened The Dashcam Footage Is Unreal!”

Police in Maryland were left stunned after an impaired driver crashed directly into a patrol car during a traffic stop—then acted like nothing at all had happened. The bizarre incident, captured on a police dashcam, has now gone viral, with viewers calling it “one of the most unbelievable DUI stops ever recorded.”

The footage begins like a routine stop. An officer had pulled over a white SUV for a minor traffic violation along a quiet suburban road. Everything seemed normal—until a white pickup truck suddenly appeared in the frame, swerving straight into the back of the police vehicle at full speed.

The impact was strong enough to jolt the camera, sending debris flying and knocking the officer off balance. Miraculously, no one was seriously injured—but what happened next left both the officer and viewers speechless.

Instead of stopping or showing concern, the driver of the pickup truck calmly continued driving a few more feet, parked, and sat there as if nothing unusual had occurred.

Dashcam audio captures the stunned officer shouting, “You just hit my car! You HIT my car!” The driver, a middle-aged man appearing confused and dazed, simply replied, “What? I didn’t hit anything.”

At that point, backup units were called to the scene. Officers immediately noticed signs of impairment—the man’s slurred speech, glassy eyes, and unsteady stance. When asked if he’d been drinking, the driver reportedly shrugged and said, “Just one or two.” But field sobriety tests revealed much more.

According to police reports, the driver’s blood alcohol content was nearly three times the legal limit. Officers also discovered an open bottle of whiskey on the passenger seat.

As the situation unfolded, onlookers who had witnessed the crash gathered nearby, watching in disbelief. “He hit a police car right in front of them,” one witness later told reporters. “You could hear the crunch of metal. Then he acted like it was no big deal. It was surreal.”

The video has since gone viral online, gaining millions of views within days. Many commenters have expressed outrage, saying the driver could have easily injured or even k*lled someone. Others praised the officer’s composure during the tense encounter.

One viral comment read: “This guy hit a cop car, denied it, and thought he could talk his way out of it. You can’t make this stuff up.”

Police later confirmed that the driver was arrested on multiple charges, including driving under the influence, reckless endangerment, and property damage. His license has been suspended pending trial.

The department released the video to remind drivers about the dangers of impaired driving—especially when it happens in broad daylight. “Every year, thousands of innocent lives are put at risk because someone thinks they’re ‘fine to drive,’” a spokesperson said. “This incident could have ended much worse.”

Incredibly, despite the crash, the officer involved walked away with only minor bruises. The patrol vehicle, however, sustained heavy damage and is expected to be out of service for several weeks.

The viral clip ends with the officer saying the now-iconic line that viewers can’t stop quoting:
“You hit my car — and you’re acting like you didn’t!”

And just like that, another shocking reminder: Don’t drink and drive — or you might end up starring in your own viral video.
