A preschool in the U.S. has come under fire after a teacher reportedly placed a sticker labeled “Sleepy” on a young child’s clothing — a move that parents are calling “public shaming” and “borderline emotional abuse.” The incident, captured in photos and shared online, has sparked a nationwide debate about classroom discipline and respect for young children.
According to the child’s parents, the incident happened after their 3-year-old son appeared tired during morning activities. Instead of giving him a break or notifying the parents, the teacher allegedly placed a cartoon-style sticker on his shirt that read “Sleepy,” implying that he wasn’t paying attention.
