What started as a petty porch theft quickly turned into one of the most embarrassing encounters ever caught on a police bodycam — when a young woman caught stealing a Victoria’s Secret package from her neighbor’s doorstep broke down crying and begged for her mom to come save her.
The incident took place in a quiet suburban neighborhood in Ohio, where a homeowner reported that her delivery was stolen just minutes after being dropped off. Doorbell footage showed a woman casually walking up to the porch, glancing around, and snatching the package before heading down the street. The homeowner immediately called the police, providing both the video and a clear description of the suspect’s outfit.
When officers arrived a short while later at the house next door, they were stunned to find the suspect sitting on her own porch — with the stolen box sitting right beside her.
Bodycam footage shows the officer calmly approaching and asking, “Ma’am, do you know why we’re here?” The woman freezes, looking like a deer caught in headlights. “No… I have no idea,” she stammers.
The officer gestures toward the unmistakable pink-striped Victoria’s Secret box on the porch. “That looks a lot like the package reported missing next door.”
